Danava/Earthless/Lecherous Gaze Split (2011)

Having a real shitty depressive time but this one cheered me up a bit. 12" split presented by Kemado records. dnt expect a long jam by earthless, its only 5 minutes long and has vocals, still very nice

Enjoy

Explosions In The Sky - All Of A Sudden I Miss Everyone (2007)

Unmissable album. EITS create vibrant, colourful and sometimes sad imagery with their instrumental music. This one comes highly recommended from me. This genre is full of imitators because of its simplicity,(i think so) and the imitators want to exploit the fact and cannot channel soul into music and realise that  talent is required  to make good music :)

Sula Bassana & Modulfix - Brain Waves (2011)

I'm not sure if this was released in 2010 or 2011, but here it is anyway. Sula Bassana AKA Dave Schmidt.
" it features 6 tracks and some very cool Lulu artwork. The CD starts with a very cool track with primitive drum machine rhythm and this more wild layers of synths, sound effects, etc.. A sort of very spacey trance music without the techno beat. Brain Wash is a sort of space rock track starting with some cool guitar by Sula, who also plays bass, drums and lots of other instruments. It’s hypnotic, groovy, and highly psychedelic. Great track. Horta is next and starts slow and spacey with some bells, and then acoustic guitar comes in as the track has a sort of haunted feeling and features some wonderful guitar from Sula. Another real trance song. Marsmellow is the shortest track on the CD at 6½ mins. It starts with a very cool synth bass line and is very hypnotic as well. Fortschritt is a more spacey electronic piece. Rossos Traum is a long space out track to end this Lulu even gets to play some didgeridoo. I think all the best ideas of Sula and Modulfix have really come together on this record. Surely their best!" -Prog-sphere

Comets On Fire - Avatar (2006)

One of my favourite COF albums. This has a really clean sound to it compared to their previous high fuzz, noise albums.

Fantasyy Factoryy - If I Like It I Do It (1998)

This album is a mix of really trippy songs and acoustic songs.  I think the vocal is hit or miss. I didnt like it at first but got used it.

Brian Eno - Apollo:Atmospheres & Soundtracks (1983)

This album comes highly recommended from me.  I always wondered if there was a heaven, what music would the angels be playing. This is is as close as i can get on simulating the thought. Beautiful music. Eno also released a new album in 2010 which i dont think is as good as this. It is still worth checking  out.

Edit - (You might have to fix the tags :P)

The Pocket Gods - Pondfield Solstice (2010)

"The Pocket Gods are the brainchild of Mark Lee and based in Leeds, England. This release shows a very different side of the band and one I would quite like to see again! The music is presented in 4 long tracks over 70 minutes. The title track has a very cool groove over which Mark lays down some cool psychedelic space rock guitar mixed in with some wind, synths and sounds. It also includes some spoken words about the Egyptian Gods. "The Golden Bough" begins as an acoustic folk jam of sorts with some nice piano parts. At 8 minutes it fades down into just hand drums before an organ part begins. Cool song. "John Barleycorn Blues" is next and this is not any old interpretation of the song. I really liked this track a lot with some nice slow building guitar and organ jamming. The 21 minute "Ninth Configuration" ends this pretty cool homemade CD. The guitar riff reminds me a bit of Gary Ramon (Sundial). The jam also reminds me of some of the coolest Jerry Joseph stuff but sadly, Mark never really lets it rip on the guitar solos. Again, the mid section features some spoken words, with a message perhaps?? I think this is great stuff" - Aural-Innovation

The Flying Eyes - The Flying Eyes (2009)

Here is a cool band from US, they play 60's style blues mixing it with some psychedelia. Oh, and the vocalist sounds a lot like Jim Morrison.

Space Travel For Beginners

I'm sure many people (3-4 people) who visit my blog have heard all of the songs. I made this comp for a forum so i thought i might as well share it here. Two of the songs dont qualify to be psychedelic music but still are in the compilation

3) My Sleeping Karma - Intention
4) Samsara Blues Experiment - Singata Mystic Queen

Eternal Tapestry - Beyond The 4th Door (2011)

Wow. This is ET's switch from Not Not Fun records to thrill Jockey and on first listen, i can hear massive difference compared to their older albums. This album is slower and more atmospheric. The last two songs will give you a sudden realization of your insignificance in the universe. They will take you on a ride to the farthest reach of the universe through which you can see many galaxies and celestial bodies scattered around gleaming as they always do. If you think im talking shit put your headphones on and listen to the album beginning to end. I'm very pleased with the album and lives up to "my" hype.
Big thanks to rand0msh1t

Alien Planetscapes - Life On Earth (1997)

I am feeling too bored to write a review so im going to phrase some professional review instead.

"Oh man, this album bears a challenge! Unfortunately Doug Walker is not with us anymore, because he died of a heart attack in 2006.
'Life On Earth' is his sole official album, a 1997 snapshot which holds more accessible stuff and could be easily taken for a best-of collection. The band is in excellent mood here, great interaction, while I'm quite sure, this recordings are not reworked, polished or whatsoever. So what can I say about the particular instruments? Chris Altenhoff's bass is hypnotic in general, not boring though, he provides haunting repetitive lines. Blaise Slwula contrasts with his free styled quirky saxophone all over."- Prog Archives

Polytoxicomane Philharmonie - Psycho Erectus (2003)

The band name sounds like some hallucogenic drug, and they deliver very chilled psychedelic music with a slight hint of jazz

Haven't got much info on them, found about about them through delirium sampler. thanks to rockin-hood for the LP, check him out here

Psychedelic band from 90s formed in Brighton, England with a good looking and sounding female vocalist! According to one of the comments in the link, Robert Chambers passed away in 2009. May his soul rest in peace.
