Kraftwerk - K4 (1971)

Ok fellas, I cannot stress enough how essential this live album is to any psych-heads. Kraftwerk whom I passed on as some bunch of weird electronic artists jam on this album like there is no tomorrow. This is the blueprint of  sonic jamming where the artists are completely out of their rational mind, comfortably enveloped in their own world and invite their listeners to their mysterious world. Out of this fucking world crazy shit that will blow your mind. MUST LISTEN! 

I don't know where I downloaded this from but thanks to whoever it was, there is a nice bit of information included on the folder.

I don't feel like writing a review as i'm exhausted after completing so many essays this week. This is a sweet album  which fans of psychedelic stoner will surely appreciate. I would say they sound a bit like Sungrazer and a little like Eternal Tapestry (Beyond the fourth door).

Beyond Stratosphere

A great band I found out through youtube last year. I couldn't find much info on this album. My guess is this is their compilation of unreleased songs. Full of spacey jams, with structure and not just lots of effects. There is also a sweet cover of The Doors song Love Me Two Times.

Over The Hills And Far Away

First off I want to thanks Matias from Get Off My Elevator for first introducing me to this great band. Secondly, thanks to Rand0msh1t for the digital copy of this album. My physical copy of the album is never going to arrive because I forgot to put the number of my house in the address :(

The great White Hills are joined by Shazzula from Aqua Nebula Oscillator in this album, who is responsible for those extra-terrestrial synthesiser sound. The weird thing about this album is being space rock, it indulges in earthly politics, alienisation of human sentiments through capitalism and consumerism. According to Ego Sensation, we have lost touch with ourselves finding thrill from electronic gadgets and technology, which I agree with.

The album seems to be an escape from all this mess, allowing the listener to shoot off the stratosphere into the blank realms of outer space, at least temporarily until the album lasts. Enjoy this spanking brand new album.

Lunar Dunes - Galaxsea (2011)

"There are scores of psychedelic space rock bands in existence these days, and that's a good thing, but there a few that clearly are rising to the top. And Lunar Dunes is in the top tier. Superior and inventive guitar work combined with a creative rhythm section define this amazing debut. The songs are well written with actual melodies, and aren't just skeletons to launch the next jam. There's a distinct Middle Eastern exotic flair, as evidenced by the hand percussion and soaring wordless female voice. 3) is remarkable in that it sounds like Tony Hill from High Tide jamming with the rhythm section of Can. The aggressive psychedelic space rock of 5) recalls the great Omnia Opera." - Source

Plastic Crimewave Sound - Flashing Open (2004)

Plastic Crimewave Sound's Flashing Open is a diverse album of psychedelia. One moment they are playing high energy psyc-punk "Caged Fire Theme" similar to Comets On Fire, the next they are playing groovy space tune "Perfect Glass Orchads". One or two of the songs also reminds me of The Heads. As I often repeat, i'm not a great reviewer so I wouldn't trust this review much :) Form your opinion about it after you listen to this great album.

Secret Birds - Peace Birds (2011)

Groovy psych music from Australia. The band members are currently living in Tokyo and one can certainly hear some jap-psych influences in this album. Their sound has been compared to " Sun Araw, High Wolf and Ducktails" You be the judge of their sound.

This album comes from a great band from Poland who find inspiration from "space, kraut, fuzz, wah, psychedelic, stoner and noise." I think this is their best work. Well done Emil and co.
