Zomes - Earth Grid (2011)

An overlooked gem from this year. It was released early in the summer I think, and I had so much fun just losing myself listening to this album. One down side about this album is that the songs are too short. other than it just perfect. Simple, melodic, pleasant and dreamy. And this concludes my last post of the year. Happy new year to Yama's hungry souls.

Weltraum - Les Golax (2011)

I have waited a while to upload this one, as I didn't want to hamper their CD sales (and also their label :). Listen to their previous album here, which is of course just as brilliant. In a nutshell, they are an experimental psychedelic group creating original music. They heavily use electronics in their music, and often indulge in far out  improvisational jams.

Fuck Buttons - Street Horrrsing (2008)

One of my favourite electronic album. Fuck Buttons consists of duo, Andrew Hung and Benjamin John Power. I would describe this album as a mix of urban and tribal tunes. Tracks such as Colour's Move and Bright Tomorrow evokes to me the feeling of observing a city's bright neon lighted night life from a bird's eye view. While tracks such as Rib's Out and Sweet Love For Planet Earth are more organic sounding. Highly recommended album.

Circle - Infektio (2011)

New album from Finnish weirdo band Circle. I personally prefer Pharaoh Overlord to Circle, but Circle have an amusing range of sounds. Try it out for yourself and make your own opinions about it.

Forest Swords - Dagger Paths (2010)

One man band of Matthew Barnes from Liverpool.  This is a very hypnotic album and comes highly recommended to fans of Fuck Buttons.

While Fuck Buttons channel the urban energy into their songs with high noise, Forest Swords channel the wilderness with a more serene and peaceful approach. Sorry about the brief review (if  it can be called review). I'm a very lazy man
